VASCO: The Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) has welcomed the decision of the State government to purchase additional power for industries.
GSIA President Damodar Kochkar also congratulated the industries stating that the power load restrictions on industries had been removed.
Kochkar said, “Govt has started purchasing additional power as mutually agreed. This would not be possible without strong support of media who highlighted our issues. We also want to thank Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar for having a meeting with the delegation of the industries on a holiday at his residence and making this happen in such a short time.”
He also thanked CM Pramod Sawant for clearing all necessary permissions with such urgency.
