‘GSL is moving on the growth trajectory’

PANJIM: Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. Rear Admiral Shekhar Mital, NM, IN (Retd) Chairman & Managing Director unfurled the National Flag at GSL campus, which was synchronized with the singing of National Anthem followed by guard of honour by the CISF contingent.

PANJIM: Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. Rear Admiral Shekhar Mital, NM, IN (Retd) Chairman & Managing Director unfurled the National Flag at GSL campus, which was synchronized with the singing of National Anthem followed by guard of honour by the CISF contingent. 
Patriotic songs in Hindi, Konkani and Marathi composed and presented by GSL’s Serenade Group were presented.   RAdm Shekhar Mital, Chairman & Managing Director said, “GSL is moving on the growth trajectory and will achieve 20% growth this year. Due to the sustained efforts of the employees over the years, we have built an outstanding brand image in design and timely delivery of quality ships. We are taking it to the next level with continuous innovation and commitment of our people. As a result, all the projects are progressing as per scheduled timelines.” 
He complimented the employees for the under construction Coast Guard ship Yard 1220 clocking the 26 knot speed in its very first trial yesterday, besides achieving other parameters. 
GSL employees were awarded with special commendation certificates for outstanding performance in their respective work areas. Long service awards, quality circle awards, Quami Ekta Week competition winners, best turnout award for CISF were also presented. The function was attended by Director (Ops), Senior Officers and workers.
