PANJIM: The Goa University has decided not to hold Semester End Examinations (SEE) for the First Year regular students of the B. Ed Programme offered at the affiliated colleges for the current academic year 2019-20.
In a circular issued, Registrar YV Reddy has said the students will be graded based on the grades obtained by them in internal assessment during the current Semester.
The Final Year Examinations and Repeat Examinations of lower Semesters shall be conducted from July 1 onwards.
No student shall be detained from moving to the next Semester.
The students, who fail after applying internal assessment grading, will have to pass the examination for the courses in which he or she has failed, whenever the examination is held next.
The University has said the students will also have an opportunity to improve their grades by appearing for the current semester course in the succeeding semester examinations; however the performance of the students appearing for improvement will not be considered.
