QUEPEM: The Paroda bridge wass submerged under water for the second time and the main road connecting Karali to Parvat, here faced a similar problem.
The road leading to Shri Chamundeshwari Shantadurga Devasthan at Paroda was flooded while the road leading to Rivona at Pimpalamal Shirvoi has been rendered unmotorable as vehicles could not move through the flood waters.
The villagers recalled that a similar incident had happened fifteen years ago.
As incessant rain continued to batter the State, 20 houses in Desai Wada, Mola Wada and Kinya Bhat areas of Avedem Panchayat area have borne the brunt of the floods as water entered their homes. In Molomal, water has entered several houses while in Desai vada flood waters have inundated the area around ten homes.
