MAPUSA: A storeroom of the coastal guest house located at Sauntavado, Baga was gutted causing a loss of Rs 2 lakh to the owner.
According to information obtained from the Pilerne Fire Station, the control room received a call at 15.50 hours informing about the fire incident.
A team of firemen from Pilerne rushed to the spot and put out the flames on the third floor of the building. A team consisting of Pradeep Mandrekar, Pradeep Naik, Videsh Mapsekar, Hemant Hunashikatti, Viraj Khandolkar, Dattaprasad Sinari brought the blaze under control.
