GUIRDOLIM: Guirdolim Gram Sabha on Sunday vociferously demanded the immediate scrapping of the hastily passed Goa Bhumiputra Adhikarini Bill 2021
Panchayat secretary Amey Miringkar said, “The Gram Sabha members unanimously resolved to oppose the Goa Bhumiputra Adhikarini Bill 2021 demanding that this Bill be immediately scrapped.”
“Another issue that was deliberated was handover of the football ground by the builder to the village panchayat. Gram Sabha members sought that this issue be pursued and also sought the plan of the proposed railway station from the South Western Railway authorities. It was resolved that the Guirdolim village panchayat write to the South Western railway authorities seeking that they provide this plan of the proposed railway station,” he said.
