MARGAO: Maina Curtorim Police registered a case of unnatural death following the death of 49-year-old Agostinho Gomes Fernandes, a resident of Villa Formosa, Guirdolim, Chandor this morning.
The body of Agostinho was found in the nallah by the road side close to his house. Known to be an alcoholic, it is suspected that he must have fallen into the nallah under the influence of alcohol last night and died there itself.
The exact cause of death will be known after the post mortem and his body is presently preserved at Hospicio morgue.
