mapusa: Concerns have been raised over the manner in which, migrant labourers are roaming freely, when they were supposed to have been under home quarantine.
The villagers have requested that they be shifted to the State’s Quarantine facility.
They approached the Bardez Deputy Collector on Tuesday with the same demand as they were concerned that their movement in public could possibly lead to the spread of the infection.
They had initially approached the Mapusa Health centre and got the six migrant labourers to be quarantined indoors.
The added that now they have also informed the police and want that the authorities not take the issue for granted since the labourers do not appear to be bothered.
