PANJIM: Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant have extended their heartiest greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa on the auspicious and joyous occasion of Holi.
The Governor in his message said, “The festival of Holi symbolises the vibrant colours and spirit of tolerance in our diverse society. Holi is a festival of colours, which provides an opportunity to strengthen harmony and fraternal bond among the people. The unique feature of this festival is that it is celebrated with joy and spirit by all the people without any consideration of caste, creed or religion. This is an important festival which promotes harmonious relationships, mutual understanding, social solidarity and national integration. Holi is much more than a festival where colourful faces showcase the Country’s unique trait of ‘Unity
in Diversity’.”

In his message, Chief Minister Sawant expressed his excitement for the colourful festivities ahead and urged everyone to embrace the spirit of unity and togetherness.
The Chief Minister reflected on the significance of this vibrant festival, which marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.
He emphasised the importance of celebrating Holi ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
