PANJIM: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa on the occasion of Holi (March 29).
The Governor in his message said, “The festival of Holi heralds the onset of spring and signifies new birth, rejuvenation and new beginnings. It also marks the advent of joy and hope. A unique feature of this festival is that it is celebrated with gaiety by all sections of the society irrespective of class, caste, community or gender. Holi fosters the spirit of unity in diversity and strengthens the secular fabric of our country.”
“Let Holi celebrations this year be marked by safety and may this festival of colours this year bring renewed peace, prosperity and happiness to the people of Goa,” he added.
