Late Monday night Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar had sent a communication to the Governor recommending dropping both the ministers from the cabinet under Article 161 (1) of the Indian Constitution.
The CM’s office confirmed that the Governor’s consent has been received and the same has been sent for gazette notification.
Meanwhile, both former ministers have surrendered their official bungalows and ministerial chambers to Goa Administrative Department.
