Half million tonnes of ore to be auctioned on Feb 17
PANJIM: Just over half million metric tonnes of iron ore -- 5,69,496 lakh metric tons -- of the 15 million metric tones would be auctioned on February 17, in the first phase, Directorate of Mines and Geology (DMG) said on Thursday. The transportation of the same would begin within 30 days of the auction.
