PANJIM: The Forest Department on Thursday clarified that it has not issued any advertisement for recruitment of forest guards, as being circulated on social media.
Social media is abuzz with a fake advertisement dated February 14, 2020 inviting applications for the post of forest guards.
Deputy Conservator of Forest Dr N Palanikanth, however, through a notice clarified that the department has not issued any such advertisement.
“It is hereby informed that Forest department Goa, has not issued any advertisement for recruitment,” the notice says.
