MARGAO: After constructing an illegal shed and compound wall in non rented Sociedade property and then challenging the demolition order in the Tribunal, the violator has now started dumping hazardous industrial waste on agricultural land, alleged Cuncolim residents.
Locals further questioned the role of Cuncolim Municipal Council, Sociadade body and other authorities for ignoring the matter despite several complaints filed against the industries operating outside the IDC Zone.
In a video released on Sunday on site by Aviraj Dessai and Armin Pires, reveals huge quantities of industrial waste being dumped in open space without any approval from the authorities.
This seems to be a nexus of CMC officials, Sociedade and the violators in destroying the ecosystem which is already in trouble by the pollution caused in Cuncolim IDC, alleged Aviraj Dessai.
