PONDA: The High Court admitted the petition filed by former Councillor challenging the ward reservations for Ponda Municipal Council elections scheduled on April 29.
Former councillor Manoj Kenni filed the petition challenging the ward reservation stating that it is not according to criteria. He said the ward reservation is not according to the rules. The rotation of wards is not done properly and as per rules. In this connection, AG has assured the High Court on Wednesday to gather information on the reservation and to reply on the Government side before the Court on April 3.
