PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has issued notice to Goa University in a petition filed by Don Bosco Agriculture Training and Research Society challenging the varsity’s decision withdrawing affiliation to Don Bosco College of Agriculture for Agriculture programme.
Through a letter dated July 23, 2021, the Goa University had communicated its decision to the petitioner about withdrawing affiliation dated March 12 to the college for admitting students to the First Year B Sc (Hons) Agricultural programme for the academic year 2021-22.
The petitioner Society has pleaded the High Court to stay the GU’s decision pending final hearing and adjudication of the matter, and grant ex-parte ad-interim relief.
