PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has asked the Goa government to file a reply by Friday to a petition by activist Trajano D’Mello seeking directions to the government to conduct a medical evaluation of the health of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
When the petition came up for hearing on Monday, Advocate General Dattaprasad Lawande argued that the petition is not maintainable. The court, however, issued notice to the government to reply by Friday and adjourned the matter for December 4.
In his petition, D’Mello also sought a public health bulletin. He also raised apprehension that Parrikar’s signatures on several official documents are being forged.
