PANJIM: Justice M S Sonak of the High Court of Bombay at Goa recused himself from hearing a petition filed by kiosk owners, whose structures located outside the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim were demolished by the local authorities last week.
“Not before me,” Justice Sonak, heading the Division Bench said as he explained to the petitioners that he had appeared for some previously. The matter will now be placed before a Special Bench for hearing.
Several stalls outside the GMC were razed on July 1, for encroaching on the road outside the hospital.
