Heap of mud caves in injuring kid

A five-year-old boy is critically injured after a heap of mud at a construction site at St Inez caved in while he was playing with other toddlers.
Hanumant Apa, native of Karnataka was trapped under the heap of mud, and rescuing him took nearly 20 minutes, eye-witnesses said. Others escaped without any injuries.
Panjim police has initiated an inquiry into the matter. “We will register a case if our inquiry reveals cognizable offense. In the meantime, we have summoned all concerned people including the authorities of the construction company,” inspector Sandesh Chodankar said. The boy is put under ventilation for treatment at Vintage hospital.
