PANJIM: The hearing into the criminal miscellaneous application filed by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar seeking directions to the Panjim Police to register FIR against 10 party rebel MLAs and 53 others for allegedly forging documents was adjourned to Wednesday.
The hearing was adjourned as the applicants lawyer Adv Abhijit Gosavi sought adjournment due to his prior engagements.
During the last hearing, the Ad-hoc Civil Judge Senior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court, Panjim had sought clarification on jurisdiction aspect. On Wednesday, Adv Gosavi is likely to make his submission why the complaint has to be registered by the Panjim Police.
