MARGAO: The Ruby Residency building collapse case came up for hearing on Thursday at the Principal Sessions Court, here. However, the hearing was adjourned till September 7.
Except Jagdeep Sehgal, all other accused were present for the hearing. The case was being heard in the Special Court in Panjim. However, two months ago the case was transferred to South Goa Sessions Court for trial.
In this case, real-estate developers Jagdeep Sehgal, Pradip Singh Birring, Government officials Prakash Bandodkar, Prashant Shirodkar, Vishwas Desai, Deepak Desai, Pradip Desai, Ajay Naik Desai, Ashank Naik Gaonkar and two others have been indicted in the past under various sections of the IPC, TCP Act and others.
