PANJIM: Forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall over the State from July 4 to 6, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday said Goa has received 41.65 inches of rainfall from June 1 to July 3 which is three percent more than normal 40.43 inches.
Speaking to Herald, IMD-Goa director M L Sahu said, “The seasonal total from June 1 to July 3 is 1058 mm which is 3 per cent more than normal rainfall of 1027 mm. Heavy to very heavy rainfall over the State is expected from July 4 to 6.”
The weather forecast states that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places between July 4 and 6.
