The usually quiet surroundings of Bodgeshwar Temple underwent a dramatic transformation as heavy rainfall created ideal conditions for catfish to venture into the neighbouring fields. With fishing activities temporarily suspended due to the ban, locals seized the opportunity to witness and engage in an adrenaline-pumping catfish-catching experience.
Throngs of residents, armed with makeshift nets, buckets, and other improvised tools, descended upon the flooded fields adjacent to the temple.
The unique spectacle brought together people from various age groups, as families and friends joined forces to capture the elusive catfish.
