Helmet drive

MARGAO, MAY 11  (HR) — Margao Traffic Cell continued their anti-helmet drive for the third day on Monday.
Traffic personnel fanned out to the various points on the NH-17 between Chinchinim and Nuvem and booked two-wheeler riders riding without head gears and documents.
Margao Traffic PI P Shirwaikar said the drive commenced on May 9 and will continue till May 15 to bring about awareness amongst motorists, especially two-wheeler riders to wear helmets.
While appealing to the riders to wear their headgears, Shirwaikar asked parents to advise their wards take all precautions while driving.
