Herald property expo winds up after overwhelming response

MARGAO: Curtains came down on the Goa Property Expo 2013 organised by Herald Group at the Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on Sunday with the two-day event evoking overwhelming response from the public.

MARGAO: Curtains came down on the Goa Property Expo 2013 organised by Herald Group at the Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on Sunday with the two-day event evoking overwhelming response from the public.
Visitors at the Goa Property Expo 2013 said the event was a great initiative taken by the Herald group as they got an opportunity to get details of various property projects at one shop. Real estate developers also expressed satisfaction over the response during the two-day Expo.
Datta D Naik of Commonwealth Developers said their stall received walk in from various places in south Goa and Salcete in particular which would have to be followed to convert into sale.
He further stated that it was basically the village residents who wanted to migrate and settle around and near Margao city that had approached them. “People from villages wish to settle in and around the city mainly for education of their children and for work,” he claimed.   
Kurade Builders, Sandeep Pol who participated for the first time said it was a great opportunity for them to showcase their projects in Dabolim, Chicalim and Vasco.
Participating in the Expo for the first time, Sunil Pariyar of Umiya Builders claimed to have received a very good response, adding that the expo gave an opportunity to come closer to buyers.

While Kavita Naik of Prudential Developers said that it was encouraging that in spite of being the monsoon time, large number of people had visited property expo. “We received many queries and around 4-5 people expressed their desire to visit the sites,” she claimed. Jennifer of Cross Roads Realtors claimed that the response was encouraging and visitors had expressed interest in their projects. Akar Realty’s Jyothi L Korup said that queries at their stall were good and they were confident to convert them to sale.
Gaus Mohammad, managing partner of Civilco Engineers & Associates said that such property expo go a long way boosting sales for developers and also giving the customers an opportunity  to choose. Wenceslao Fernandes of Cityscape Developers stated that response was good and the public visiting their stall were interested to know price, facilities offered and location. 
Visitors showered praise on the Herald group for organizing the event. “I arrived from Mumbai and came to visit the expo to collect details on properties and then decide to purchase one as I intend to invest in property,” stated Michael Pacheco.  
Seby Colaco claimed that such events help buyers to know the right price and have a choice while Pradeep Colaco of Velim claimed to have been able to collect lot of information which would help him decide on a right property. Cipriano Fernandes expressed that such events give an opportunity of choice to the buyer. “It is indeed a great opportunity for the buyer to know facilities offered by various developers and also have the opportunity to choose of various projects,” said Lizy Fernandes of Borda. Gromiko Fernandes, a retired headmaster from Curtrorim stated that it was a very good initiative and participation of more developers would not only benefit public but also developers themselves.
State Bank of India’s Nitesh Kamble said that a number of people approached them for details on housing loan offered by the bank.
