MAPUSA: Water pipeline of 150mm, which was damaged two days ago at three different spots in Karaswada by National Highway contractors during highway widening works, is still not repaired.
On Tuesday evening Tivim MLA Nilkanth Harlankar inspected the site with PWD engineer and councillor Sushant Harmalkar and asked highway asked engineers that if the water not restored on war footing then people will be forced to come on road.
According to the sources, pipeline that ruptured near Sattadhar complex, near Karaswada petrol pump has affected water supply to residents of Ghotnicho Val and Colvale.
