Hijack scare man sent to jail

NEW DELHI, Feb 2 The man arrested for creating a mid-air hijack scare in an Indigo flight with 163 passengers on board was today sent to 14-day judicial custody and charged with endangering life and personal safety and criminal intimidation.

The man arrested for creating a mid-air hijack scare in an Indigo flight with 163 passengers on board was today sent to 14-day judicial custody and charged with endangering life and personal safety and criminal intimidation.
Jitendra Kumar, who was reported to be a businessman, was produced before the court of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R Goel who ordered the judicial remand, a day after he along with two others  were taken into custody for questioning shortly after the incident involving the low-cost air carrier.
