The site of environment destroying suspected rogue nightclub was inspected on Thursday, after a Herald report. Based on a complaint by a local DJ and activist, the panchayat issued a stop work order notice to Anjuna Comunidade, the owner of the land in Survey No 206.
Post-Herald’s ground report of a blatant illegal construction of a suspected nightclub on Comunidade land, a jolted village panchayat of Anjuna- Caisua ordered a site inspection by serving a notice to the Comunidade. Herald, in its Wednesday edition, had reported a hill being destroyed for an access road to a suspected under-construction nightclub in Anjuna. The Anjuna-Caisua Village Panchayat scheduled a site inspection of the Comunidade land on Thursday (November 10).
