Hindu outfits call for erasing foreign names

PONDA: Hard-line Hindu outfits staged a demonstration, at old Ponda bus stand on Sunday, demanding that States and cities having foreign names be given Indian names to protect the national identity.

The outfits lamented as unfortunate that even after 56 years of Goa’s liberation from the Portuguese, the signs of slavery are being maintained with pride in Goa. 
The outfits called for renaming the cities, buildings, roads and stations bearing the names of invaders, as they are the signs of slavery.
Demanding that the Archaeological department announce the Indranarayan temple in Telangana as Hindu temple, the outfits said that it was destroyed to build a mosque. 
The groups demanded that Rohingya Muslims living across the country to be driven away and all the facilities given to them be stopped immediately.
