Well-known Pradip Narvekar, the proprietor of Santoshi Cold Drink in Mapusa, met with a fatal accident on Sunday night as he was struck by a vehicle while on the Mapusa-Pernem highway. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving Narvekar in critical condition. Despite swift efforts to rush him to Goa Medical College for urgent treatment, Pradip Narvekar tragically succumbed to his injuries.
As per reports, a lawyer has been detained in connection with the hit-and-run case.
