VALPOI: Hivrem villagers and PTA members on Thursday launched a morcha on the ADEI office in Valpoi demanding that the Government Primary School, Hivrem be provided with a regular English teacher.
According to villagers, there is no regular English Teacher in the school for many years, due to which the students are facing the problems. There are a total of 55 students in the primary school.
The Valpoi ADEI said there is shortage of teachers in the Education Department and informed the villagers that due to such situation he cannot fulfil their demand.
“We have demanded a regular English teacher for the primary school. All 55 students in our school are facing the problems. But the Valpoi ADEI has refused to fulfil our demand. Now we will approach to the Director of Education Department, warned Suryakant Gaonkar, Hivrem panch.
