Hodar villagers said, “We are facing this issue for the last 15 days and have orally complained to Curchorem Police but in vain. To inform the concerned authority to clean the road or control iron ore spillage we have hit the roads to highlight this issue”.
Sahil Naik, a youth from Hodar said, “Ore spillage has caused dust pollution as two-wheeler riders find it difficult to commute along the route.”
Sushant Naik, a panch said, “We don’t have any issue with the ore transportation but people’s safety is very important and due to ore transportation the common man should not suffer. The local police and Traffic Cell should work to ensure safety and security of the common man.”
