VALPOI: The villagers from Honda in Sattari taluka opposed plying of heavy vehicles through narrow lanes of their village after a truck crashed into a house in Honda village.
The villagers also filed a complaint to the local police station saying those heavy vehicles take a short cut driving through Honda village. They pointed out that due to this several such accidents in the village.

The District Magistrate North Goa has not permitted commercial heavy vehicles to ply through the village.
