PORVORIM: Unknown persons broke into a house at Porvorim and decamped with cash and goods worth Rs 1.86 lakh.
Police stated that Joseph Anthony Barreto, resident of Porvorim’s Claiming Estate, filed a complaint at the Porvorim Police Station stating that his house was robbed between the intervening night of Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1.
He informed that unknown persons entered his residence by breaking the front door lock and stole Rs 50,000, a gold ring, a laptop, a wrist watch and a DVR worth Rs 1,85,989.
PSI Pranita Mandrekar conducted the panchnama and a case has been registered.
