According to the available information, portion of house belonging to one Kishore Bordekar collapsed due to heavy rain in the evening causing him loss a of Rs 2 lakh.
The mother-son duo escaped unhurt as they were sleeping in another room. The neighbour’s compound and a car parked near the house were damaged.
Tree falling incidents were also reported at Kudnem, Valshi, Advalpal and other places and traffic was disrupted.
