PONDA: A house in Dhavali-Ponda collapsed on Monday night, after heavy rains had weakened the structure.
Family members had already shifted to a neighbour’s house after one wall had collapsed some time earlier, but poverty had prevented the family from repairing the broken wall.
PWD minister Sudin Davlikar assured to provide necessary financial assistance to the house owner to get the house repaired. Kavalem panchayat talathi also inspected the house to take note of the damage.
