A devastating situation occurred when a house near Rukmini Plaza Peddem sports complex, was partially gutted in fire. The fire broke out on Friday afternoon, where a loss is estimated to be around 5 lakh rupees. The owner of the house hints towards foul play. The quick arrival of the fire personnel managed to douse the massive fire, which destroyed the two rooms and rooftops of the house.
Speaking to the owner of the house Miya Khatib said that, there has been an ongoing property dispute for more than 45 years, which led to the incident today. The cause of the fire is still a mystery, which hints towards the action done by the third party, he added. All the documents, television, cash 2 lakh rupees, and gold have been destroyed in the fire, which estimate around is around 5 lakhs.
Speaking to the fire brigade personnel, he informed that they received a call around 12:52, and acting swiftly upon the same they rushed to the spot. The house was fuming with a massive smoke. However, when fire personnel managed to get inside, they witnessed that a massive fire had engulfed two rooms of the house. While trying to do the fire, fire personnel managed to save the other part of the house along with one television present in that area. The fire has completely destroyed the rooftop of the house.
Police personnel were already at the site to investigate the matter. owner of the house Miya Khatib, said “We will lodge a complaint in the police station to investigate the matter thoroughly”.
