PANJIM: The Goa Kul Mundkar Sangarsh Samiti went to meet the North Goa collector on Tuesday. They wanted to request the Collector to solve their Kul Mundkar cases which have been dragging along for years. They said the North Goa Collector had not time to meet them.
After the meeting representative of the Goa Kul Mundkar Sangarsh Samiti questioned how Pooja Sharma, the accused in the Assagao House demolition case, was able to do her property mutation within 24 hours. They also pointed out that the mutation was done between Sunday and Monday.
Who pressurized the officials? Which minister or politician is involved in doing this mutation deed, they questioned. They demanded an inquiry in all officials including Mamlatdar and others under a retired high court judge, into the Pooja Sharma mutation.
They said kulmundar cases were not settled despite directions from the High Court. They demanded that additional officials be appointed to solve Kul Mundkar cases as promised by revenue officials before the High Court.
