PANJIM: Panjim police have registered case against Sussanne Khan, the ex-wife of actor Hrithik Roshan, for cheating a real estate firm by posing as an architect and submitting the design of a building which was not professional.
“The case was registered against Sussanne Khan on June 9, after the real estate firm lodged a complaint. The firm has claimed that she cheated them by posing as an architect through her firm The Charcoal Project,” an officer at the Panjim police station said.
The police said that the investigation in the case is on and they have sought documents from Khan from her address at Andheri, Mumbai.
The complaint against her is filed by Emgee Properties alleging that she posed herself as an architect and secured a contract to design the building in Panjim in 2013.
The company’s Managing Director Mudith Gupta said in the complaint that a contract for Rs 1.87 crore was signed with her.
Gupta alleged that she failed to submit the design in the stipulated period of time and also the design submitted by her were not up to professional standards.
