PANJIM: The Anti Human Trafficking Unit (ATHU) of Goa Police, North Goa has registered its first case of immoral trafficking against unknown persons having businesses in Panjim. A victim filed a complaint alleging rape and immoral trafficking by several persons while she was in Goa attempting to make a living.
The ATHU Police Inspector in charge Sandhya Gupta said that the complainant has personally filed the complaint and mentioned that the victim had met the accused in Goa and was raped on several occasions.
PI Gupta however declined to divulge more details stating that the investigation is on.
