While there were nine Romatamell groups participating in various folk dances like goff, ghode, modni and kunbi, which were judged by Mahendra Phaldessai, Anant Agni, and Nityanand Naik.

On Saturday, Goa was put under temporary partial lockdown by closing schools, colleges, pubs, discos and casinos till March 31. However, the government left the decision to hold Shigmo parades to the local committees.
