PANJIM: Police are still searching whereabouts of the six boys and girls, who escaped from the controversial Apna Ghar on Saturday leaving the local authorities red-faced.
The inmates’ escape comes a day after around 10-12 children took the institution by storm, destroying its properties and injuring four persons including two police constables.
Among the three boys and three girls, four were involved in the rampage on Friday. Police said they have launched manhunt at all places where they are suspected to be hiding.
A combing operation was also carried out on Saturday on information that they were hiding in the bushes behind the Home.
