Hyderabad Narco police along with Osmania University police arrested John Stephen D’Souza (Steve) for allegedly being involved in the NDPS case of Osmania university, Hyderabad. The police have requested aid from the Goa police in apprehending Edwin Nunes, Tukaram Salgaonkar, Manzur Ahmed, Vikas Naik, Ramesh Chowhan and Sanja Govekar.
It has now been reported that John Stephen D’souza, the owner of the Hilltop restaurant in Anjuna has fallen sick after being arrested and has been admitted to the District Hospital in Mapusa. The Mapusa JMFC court has adjourned the hearing on the application for transit remand by the Hyderabad police for Thursday and has directed to file a health status report of the accused.
