Hyderabad Police to plead in Court for Transit remand for Hill Top Owner

Hyderabad Police will on Thursday plead in Court for Transit remand for HillTop Owner John Stephen D’Souza alias Steve. The issue of Steve’s health condition will also be argued in Court by the Hyderabad Police. The Hyderabad police Narco wing H-New arrested John Stephen D’Souza on Wednesday and were to seek transit remand when Steve complained of chest pain. 

The elite Hyderabad narco police, camping in Goa for three days made the first of the many impending arrests- alleged drug kingpin John Stephen D’Souza (Steve) owner of Hilltop nightclub in Vagator. Steve has been named by the Hyderabad Police as one of the big interstate suppliers operating for eight years in Goa.

Goa’s DGP Jaspal Singh had told Herald that Hyderabad cops were “here for a routine visit” and that “Goa is only a drug destination, drugs are not supplied from here.” Police insiders revealed that the Hyderabad Police team with the assistance of the Anjuna Police team nabbed Steve early Wednesday morning from his home. Steve then complained of uneasiness, after which he was taken to the North Goa District Hospital.

Meanwhile, in the anticipatory bail hearing in Curlie’s owner Edwin Nunes case in a Hyderabad case, the police will put forth their arguments today, Thursday
