MARGAO: In a major reshuffle, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has effected transfers of several IAS and IPS officers in and out of Goa, including those who held key posts in the State.
The Secretary to Chief Minister Ajit Roy; along with the North Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) Nidhin Valsan; South Goa SP Abhishek Dhania (IPS) and IPS Aslam Khan have been transferred out of Goa. While Roy, IAS, has been transferred to Mizoram, the remaining three IPS officers, Nidhin Valsan, Aslam Khan and Abhishek Dhania have been transferred to Delhi.
Regarding the transfers to Goa, IAS Ankit Yadav, E Velavan, as well as IPS Rohit Singh and Rahul Gupta have been posted in Goa.
