PONDA: The Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) on Sunday launched a scathing attack on BJP stating that to grab power, the party has put a split among the society in name of Hindutva and there is no need to teach Hindutava to the MGP.
At a party meeting held at Mardol, party leader Sudin Dhavalikar said, “BJP is only doing corruption and nothing else. It is a failed government but no one dares to inform Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister about it.”
“The MGP-TMC alliance is formed to show the corrupt BJP government the road to home. It is for the downfall of BJP government,” he said.
“It’s time to send home the corrupt BJP government by reducing to single digit. If the BJP again comes to power then it will be doom for the Goans,” he claimed.
Sudin said that corruption is deep-rooted in the BJP and people should realise this and demanded to probe Rs 70 crore job scam through CBI as alleged by Panjim MLA Atanasio Babush Monserrate.
He said that the BJP is misleading people by conducting transfer of Inquiry Officer Ankita Anad appointed to probe the job scam. He alleged that the PDA, TCP and Revenue Departments too involved in the corrupt and money making practices.
Sudin said, “BJP today ruined education system and future of students in Goa due to lack of planning and not providing proper infrastructure. It’s because the MGP gave hand and made alliance with the BJP in 1994, the party was able to form governments in Goa otherwise the party would never able to form.
He rejected the BJP’s claim that the MGP alliance with TMC is unholy.
In his address, MGP leader Deepak Dhavalikar assured the voters of Rs 5000 monthly Grihalaxmi Scheme.
