IFFI to pay homage to legends of cinema

PANJIM: The upcoming 10-day long International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will pay homage to legendary figures in the world of Indian cinema in a special homage section.

PANJIM: The upcoming 10-day long International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will pay homage to legendary figures in the world of Indian cinema in a special homage section. 
Dadasaheb Phalke Award winning director K Balachander, producer D Ramanaidu and film personalities including illustrious music composers Ravindra Jain and Aadesh Shrivastava, popular actors Deven Verma, Manorama and Indra Bania, producer Eddida Nageshwar Rao, music composer M S Vishwanathan; film directors Nirad Mohapatra from (Odissa) and Bidyut Chakravarty (Assam) will be paid tribute. 
“The presence of those who are gone can be profoundly felt when their most memorable films are screened for the ones who long for just another sight. Ardent fans and families embrace the beloved master’s artistry yet again at IFFI 2015,” a press statement issued by the organizer said.
