A few weeks ago, the tourism department cracked the whip and seized beach beds, umbrellas, tables and chairs which were illegally placed on the Morjim beach. But looks like after the tourism department official turned their back, more beach beds and umbrellas were placed on the beach. Now locals have demanded action against those involved and also another inspection, they say that in spite of repeated reminders to the department nothing has been done.
