Pernem: A resort owner against whom action was taken twice before for encroaching on the Morjim beach at Vithaldas wada has once again put up the deck beds illegally.
Although action was taken against him previously, his belongings were returned to him by the night and hence, locals have accused authorities of putting up a facade in the name of taking action.
The Department of Tourism permits five pairs of beach beds for the private business owners however some of them put up hundreds of beds without obtaining legal permits.
