BICHOLIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has warned that the illegal houses coming up in the evacuee land in Mayem will be demolished.
While speaking at a programme at Mayem, the Chief Minister said it has been observed that people have started constructing houses in the evacuee property.
“The regularisation and issuing sanads to the locals are going on and the government has demanded only one document to transfer the land to the people,” the Chief Minister said.
“Villagers from Mayem have illegally constructed new houses in the evacuee property post legislation in 2014, all such houses will be demolished,” the CM added.
